Frequently Asked Questions
Why hire Doody Scoopers?

Doody Scoopers is committed to 100% satisfaction. We're here to help provide a clean and healthy environment for you and your pets to enjoy. We understand that picking up poop is not the most glamourous thing to do, so allow us to "doo" the dirty work for you.

What should I expect on your first visit?

Our goal is to earn your trust. Therefore, we would like to meet and greet you and your pooch to discuss any questions that you may have concerning our services.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, we do not require you to sign a contract. We would like the opportunity to prove that our services are up to your standards and that you would invite us back for "their " business. We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours ahead if you wish to cancel a scheduled scooping.

How do I pay? / When will I be charged?
Do I need to be home when my yard gets scooped?

You will not be charged until scooping is completed. An invoice will be sent the first week of every month via mail or email (your preference). The bill will be based off of the number of visits from the previous month.

We accept cash, checks, debit and most major credit cards. Credit and debit cards are processed through PayPal (no account needed).

No, you do not have to be present when our Scooper Tech arrives. If you have a gate, we ask that it is unlocked for access into your yard. We will be glad to lock it once your yard has been scooped. Also, we will send notification via text or email that "You've Been Scooped"!

Can my dog be outside when you're scooping?

Absolutely! (As long as they're friendly). We wouldn't be in this business if we didn't love dogs. This is one of the reasons for the initial meet and greet session. If you don't mind, our Scooper Techs love to give treats!

Do you scoop in inclement weather?
What are your normal scooping hours?

Dogs poop year round. Doody Scoopers makes every effort to keep up with them. Rain is no problem unless it's a thunderstorm. Autumn is sometimes tricky with the falling leaves. We thoroughly scan your yard for poop but will only pick up what we can see. This is the case for tall grass as well (4 inches or more). During the winter months, we try our best to search out and find poop when snow is present. Please note that 2 inches or more of snow will make it more difficult. We will go the extra step to pick up what we miss on your next visit. (That snow has to eventually melt!).

What do you "doo" with the poop you scoop?

The poop that is scooped is double bagged and placed in either your trash bin or a 5 gallon bucket with lid which can be purchased from us for $6.00.
